We surprised the kids with a road trip to Disneyland. We told them we were going to UC Davis (Sacramento) for their cousin’s graduation, which was true. But we also snuck in a trip to the magic kingdom in Los Angeles. My six-year old daughter was the driving force at Disneyland. She’s an adrenaline junkie — we went on Splash Mountain six times, Indiana Jones twice, Big Thunder Railroad twice, the new Matterhorn (faster than before), Grizzly River Run, and Goofy’s Sky School. She also wanted to go on the California Screaming roller coaster, but she was a couple of inches too short.

That looks like so much fun! And what a great surprise for your kiddos.
I love the Tower of Terror…great fun all.
Looks like such a fantastic time! what a great surprise trip, so cool for them! You have the most adorable kids.
Davis is along way from Disney when did you let them know LOL BTW kids we are not going home today… Bet they were super excited!!! Wow your daughter is amazing, the lines can be *very* long and it would be exhausting just to go on everything once!
The kids don’t really know where Davis or Disneyland is (other than in California). We drove to Disneyland first, then went to UC Davis. The oldest child caught on when we drove into Anaheim and she saw signs for Disneyland.
That is a good thrilling surprise you gave them. :)
Looks like fun.
What a great surprise that must have been!
How cool!
What a nice surprise! Have a great WW.
My entry.
Your younger daughter is a pistol. I have a feeling she and my son would get along famously despite their age difference.
