I took the little guy on a bike ride. It was great until he got two flat tires. Then I had to push him. It was really hard. I think I might have pushed him up Mount Everest.
The school district delayed kindergarten a week, so last week was the first week of school for our youngest child. I can’t believe the little dude is in school now.
Check out the photo above. My oldest daughter is playing with a really, tiny elephant at the Oregon Zoo.
The kids have been cooling off this summer in our gigantic swimming pool. We got it on clearance at the end of last summer. We didn’t realize how big a 20′ pool was until we assembled it our backyard. I hope the neighbors don’t mind our pool sticking into their backyard.
We went to the beach recently. We had fun, but my kids kept walking around with their hands in the air. Not sure why. I guess they’re just weird.
My oldest daughter surprised me this summer. She signed up for volleyball. Not a big deal for my most parents. But keep in mind my daughter is the nerdy type that doesn’t really like sports.
We went on a ride on Mount Hood Railroad’s dino train in Hood River. The ride was only 30 minutes, but then the kids got to play in the dinosaur-theme adventure park afterwards.
